Morocco’s annual inflation drops to 0.7% in October
RABAT (Reuters) – Morocco’s annual inflation, measured by the consumer price index, eased to 0.7% in October from 0.8% a month earlier, Morocco’s statistics agency said on Friday.
Food prices, the main driver for inflation, rose 0.5% from a year earlier, while non-food inflation increased by 0.7%.
Core inflation, which excludes more volatile goods, was up 0.3% month-on-month and 2.4% year-on-year.
